The Bridge Youth & Family Services Society, a non-profit, charitable organization, has been developing and providing innovative and quality programming for children, youth and families in the Central Okanagan of British Columbia since 1969.

The Bridge continually strives to strengthen our connections to the community and those who use our services. Our Healthy Weights for Children Project has been selected as one of the eleven National Projects funded under the Public Health Agency of Canada’s Innovation Strategy [1] for achieving healthier weights in Canada’s communities.

Healthy Weights for Children Project promotes achievement and maintenance of healthier weights in children and youth, and their families, particularly those from under-served populations, including Aboriginal and minority groups, rural and northern communities.
